JPG, PNG, WebP — pick multipleAbout the Image Collage tool
The Image Collage tool runs entirely in your browser. Drop or select multiple images, choose a Layout (e.g. 2×2, 3×3, 1×3), set the Gap between cells, the Background color, and the Cell size. Click Build Collage and the tool draws each image into its cell using cover-style cropping (preserving aspect ratio, filling the cell, cropping overflow). Empty cells in layouts larger than the number of uploaded images are left as background. The output canvas is sized as cols × cellSize + (cols + 1) × gap wide and similarly tall. Nothing is uploaded; all processing happens locally.
How to use it
- Click the drop zone or drop image files onto it. You can select multiple files.
- Choose a Layout matching the number of images you want to use.
- Adjust Gap, Background, and Cell size as needed.
- Click Build Collage to render, then Download to save the PNG, or Clear to start over.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if I pick fewer images than the layout needs? The remaining cells stay as the background color. The collage is still rendered.
What happens if I pick more images than the layout needs? Only the first N images that fit the layout are used; the rest are ignored.
How are images fit into cells? Each image is cropped to cover its cell while preserving aspect ratio (like CSS object-fit: cover), so there are no empty bars.
Does this tool upload my images? No. All processing happens locally in your browser. Your images never leave your device.
